19:00 - 21:00 | FCC 2008 Kick-Off | The Kick-Off Information Night will be held Monday October 1st, 7-9pm, at the Kingston Brewing Company (34 Clarence St., Kingston). Come hear about the competition, what makes a great business idea and past winners talking about their experiences. Free admission and no need to register. Take this first step towards getting your business going with the opportunity to win up to $50,000 in financing.

11:00 - 13:30 | FCC 2008 Awards Luncheon | Mark your calendars for the First Capital Challenge 2008 Awards Luncheon. The winner(s) of up to $50,000 in prize money will be announced. You will also hear the finalists compete in the exciting $1,000 Pitch Contest. Exhibits from past and present participants will be on display.
